Please welcome Andrea Caban as the new Phonetics Editor for the VSR. Andrea will be editing articles that investigate acoustic, articulatory, linguistic and practical phonetics, speech perception, dialect, accent or variation, and language and speech training for performing artists. In other words, anything that involves dialect, the IPA, and anything about linguistics. Please submit any inquiries about submissions for this area directly to her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Welcome to the conference! Please congratulate Amy Ginther on her new post as Associate Editor for Ethics for the Vice and Speech Review. The editor for this section develops and edits writing on ethical issues in our practice. This includes, most relevant to this year's conference theme, articles on diversity, identity politics, and social justice as they pertain to the work of Voice and Speech trainers. If you have any interest in writing on these topics, or are doing a presentation that addresses these issues, please make sure to have a converstaion with Amy about it.

As the ATHE conference corresponds with VASTA next year, this will provide an easy opportunity to present your work for the wider audience of theatre makers that ATHE represents. The deadline for proposals is November 1st, 2015.
