ATHEMOO can be reached two easy ways: 1) Telnet to <moo. hawaii.edu 9999> (9999 is the port number). 2) Connect thru the ATHEMOO web page <http://moo.hawaii.edu/athemoo/>. Click on the Surf N Turf button at the bottom of the page. It will take a moment for the program to load. First you'll see a surf n turf page, then the ATHEMOO welcome screen. (This only works if your web browser is java-enable most of them are these days.) When you get there you will be prompted to connect. You want to type <CO Guest>. (Tip: if you are connecting through Telnet, you may have to type the CO command twice - a quirk of some schools' servers.) If you go during a tutorial, someone will be there to greet you! If the days and times of the tutorials don't match your schedule, visit ATHEMOO and make use of our online tutorial with the @ tutorial command. Or, Email Juli Burk <burk@hawaii.edu> to set up a time that is more convenient for you. (From Juli Burk's VASTAVOX posting.)
