Statement Of Philosophy:
I believe that voice-speech work is an extension of acting training; I try to
incorporate and integrate all areas of the performer's skill/knowledge base.
My teaching is based in the principles that rule my work as an actor, and on
my training with many master teachers. My work is rooted in the body, in the
sensation of voice, and the physical act of marrying the breath and voice in
the expression of thoughts, feelings and impulses. I believe in the need to
find the "voice of the text", the appropriate vocal use/ level of
speech for each performance setting.
