Statement of Philosophy:
In good vocal training, the teacher is dedicated first and foremost to the personal and professional growth of the student rather than to any one particular technique or set of rules. The best approaches are flexible enough to adapt to a students individual needs, yet are guided by a firm commitment to instilling in the student a full understanding of the structure and function of the vocal apparatus, a clear knowledge of the vocal hygiene and an understanding of the voice as an instrument of uniquely personal artistic expression.
