IDENTITY CABARET:

The Identity Cabaret is an initiative of VASTA's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee and has been a highlight of VASTA conferences for the last number of years. 

If you have questions about this year's Identity Cabaret, please contact the chair of the EDI Committee Joy Lanceta Coronel at EDIcommittee(at)vasta.org. 

The 2019 Identity Cabaret will be held from 7-8:30p on Monday, August 5th. Location still TBD.

If you'd like to participate in this year's cabaret, please fill out this form by July 20th, 2019.

 

REGISTRATION:

Please remember that you must be a current member of VASTA and logged in to register for the conference at the member rate. Please, also confirm that your member profile is up to date.

Registration Fee:

  • $350 - I am a current VASTA Member

  • $225 - All Students, Retirees, VASTA Distinguished Emerita

  • $450 - All non-members

THERE WILL BE A LIMITED AMOUNT OF ONE-DAY PASSES AVAILABLE. Please email conference director Kendra Kingsbury for more information about day rates.

 

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:

If your plans change after you register, please contact VASTA's Director of Operations, Nancy Bos, (treasurer(at)vasta.org). After June 15th, you will only receive 50% of your original payment.

Continuing Education (CEU) Credit:

The conference is seeking approval for 1.0 ASHA CEUs based on a successful history of offering .55 ASHA CEUs in 2016.

Going green:

Please be advised, this year's conference committee is trying to "go green" by cutting back on printed materials. All materials and information will be available to view, download, or print on the website under "Conferences" then "Orlando." If a participant wants material printed, they will have to download and print themselves. Additionally, all information will be available via a conference APP upon arrival at the conference.
