Bio
Elizabeth van den Berg has served as vocal and dialect coach for over 50 productions in Washington DC, including at Synetic Theater, Studio Theatre, Olney Center for the Arts, Constellation, and Round House. She is currently Professor/Chair Emerita of Theatre Arts at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD. She has been Chair of Region II of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF), and a Member at Large on the National Committee. She was named as a top teaching artist nationally by KCACTF in 2005, and was awarded a Kennedy Center Gold Medallion in 2006 and 2015. Serving as Co-Artistic director of the newly created Songs of the Goat theatre company, focused on Greek Theatre, she was the Choreagus for their productions of Medea and Antigone. Elizabeth is a proud member of AEA, and SAG/AFTRA, and a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School Grad Acting Program.
