Selected Work Experience
Lester Thomas Shane is on the faculty of Pace University, and has been with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York Film Academy among others. While playing leading roles at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Lester served as company Voice and Movement Master. As speech/dialect coach he has worked with, HBO, Lincoln Center Signature Theatre (Virginia), Ogunquit Playhouse, and The Blacklist (NBC). He delivered the keynote address at the 2001 National Teaching Training Institute. Lester has directed classics and new works in NYC, regional theatre and Europe. His award-winning one-man show, Mortal Coil was translated into Norwegian and Lester directed the European premiere.
