Bio
Josh “J” Feliciano-Sanchez Moser (they/them) is an actor, voice and dialect specialist, and professional coach for actors and speakers. Josh is a Certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®, and a Certified teacher of Knight Thompson Speechwork, with an MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, and a BA from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Josh completed additional actor intensive training with SITI Company at the 2013 Summer Intensive, and in Bali with the master teachers of Bali Taksu: The Power of Clown in 2017.
Josh has been an Assistant Professor at Kean University since 2022.
Additional University experience includes Brown University/Trinity Repertory MFA Interim head of Voice and Speech from 2019 - 2022; Yale University DGSD; Princeton University; HB Studios; The American Academy of Dramatic Arts; the La MaMa ETC/Trinity College Performing Arts Semester; City College of New York; SCAD; PACE; a Fulbright Specialist on the Fulbright Program's Specialist's Roster.
Other professional consulting includes: a Senior Consultant for the Strictly Speaking Group; and the top rated app Bold Voice.
Josh co-authored the article Strategies for Guiding Actors' Accent and Linguistic Needs in the Twenty-First Century published in the Voice and Speech Review, and is currently co-authoring a series called Spanish Accents and Dialects for Actors.
Some of Josh’s coaching work includes: The Billie Holiday Theatre, Profile Theatre Portland, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Phoenix Theatre Ensemble, Theatreworks Hartford, CNN’s Harry Enten, Savannah Stage Company, Savannah Shakes, and others. As an actor, Josh appeared as Hedwig directed by Tara Moses at Brown/Trinity Rep, as Bahoma in Pueblo Revolt by Dillon Chitto at the Goodman Theater. Also seen in Phoenix Theatre Ensemble's productions of Judas, and The Cult Play. Josh has been in off-off-broadway productions at Dixon Place, 13th Street Repertory, Stage Left Studio, and regionally at Montgomery Theatre, the Media Theatre, Savannah Stage Company, Collective Face Ensemble, and the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
