Join VASTA’s EduCore for a combined Resource Club and Teacher Community Gathering—an opportunity to connect, reflect, and share with colleagues in a supportive space.
This one-hour session will centre around the theme of Resilience & Burnout. A three-part series about ‘Burnout’ from the This Is A Voice Podcast by Jeremy Fisher and Dr Gillyanne Kayes, will be used as a springboard into the conversation. We will focus mostly on Episode Two ‘Student burnout, Time Poverty & The Perfectionism Trap. With Dr Ayan Panja & Richard Delaney’. So if you can please have a listen prior to the event, that would be ideal.
Whether you’re looking to gain fresh insights, contribute to the discussion, or simply connect with others in the field, you’re warmly invited to come along. Event organizers Alexandra Whitham and Lisa Dallinger (both based in Naarm/ Melbourne, Australia) will facilitate the discussion in response to the podcast series and theme, but if there is something on your mind that doesn’t directly connect to the prompt, please bring it anyway—we want this to be a place where pressing concerns and exciting ideas can be voiced.
New teachers, senior teachers, and everyone in between are welcome to join-in, whether you teach in private practice, university/college settings, or in a conservatory.
This event is open to VASTA and non-VASTA members.
