VASTA hosts its 33rd annual conference: Connectors, Communicators & Culture in Orlando, Florida, August 4-7, 2019, and we are now offering

At this year's VASTA conference, voice and speech experts from around the world will share their knowledge about the human voice and how it works, and about vocal training and the powerful impact of connection and communication through vocal sounds, words, storytelling, and dramatic text, for both the spoken and sung voice.

  • Master Shakespeare Teacher, Scott Kaiser on Teaching Shakespeare's Wordcraft

  • Celebrity Voiceover Artist, Eliza Jane Schneider, along with Vocal Authority Founder, Rena Cook, on Altered Stages: Beyond Theatrical Voice

  • Keynote Speaker, Patricia Raun, will deliver “Let Your Life Speak": The Art of Connecting Across Difference

  • A panel and conversation with artists, educators, and activists, Amy Mihyang Ginther, Joy Lanceta Coronel, and Daron Oram on Decolonization, Inclusion or Insurgency: Contemporary Voice Practice that Honors the Entirety of Today's Student.

  • Artist and activist, Margaret Laurena Kemp, will give a world premiere performance of her new piece, "This is a Memory."
