About this event

Vocal Coaching for the Theatre: Navigating the Varied Vocal Demands of Production

A panel of expert coaches will discuss strategies and techniques for successful vocal usage, considering the specific needs of the space, the script and the actors.

Explore the evolving role of the vocal coach in professional production with this dynamic panel featuring Andrew Wade, Jan Gist, and Geraldine Cook. Moving beyond dialect work, this conversation dives into the real-world demands placed on actors’ voices—power, clarity, range, and vocal health—and the coaches who help them meet those challenges in the rehearsal room and on stage. Moderated by Adrianne Moore, this session opens up a vital and underexplored area of vocal practice in production.
