ADI CABRAL (they/them) is the Associate Professor of Voice and Movement and Department Chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of Nevada, Reno, and works professionally as a Dialect Coach, Intimacy Director, and Audiobook Narrator. Adi’s professional credits include productions at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Huntington Theatre, the Alliance Theatre, Houston Stages, Utah Shakespeare Festival, the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, New Repertory Theatre, the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Mildred’s Umbrella Theatre Company, Stage Q, The New Hazlett Theater, The Hangar Theatre Company, Central Square Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Darlinghurst Theatre. Their research and publications focus on training methods for the LGBTQ+ Identified actor and cultural competency in voice and speech training.
